Sweeping up the crumbs: Intuitive FAQs

Q.Why only photos of food?
A.I do take other photos, but food photos popularize my albums. For the longest time, whoever has been with me has had to wait to eat their food while I whip out my camera to capture it before it is consumed. I think there is something beautiful in looking back at delicious meals, food and drinks; the photos bring back memories of where I was, who I was with and not only do I remember what I ate, but I can taste it again, visually speaking.
I have tagged the photos so in a way they are linked to each other through year, location, food and maker (whether is be restaurant, bakery or person)

Q.How did you come up with this name?
A. After some thought...Wikipedia. Breadcrumbs or breadcrumb trail is a navigation aid used in user interfaces. It gives users a way to keep track of their locations within programs or documents. The term comes from the trail of breadcrumbs left by Hansel and Gretel in the popular fairytale.
I am combining the internet with food...The Breadcrumb Trail is it's very own vernacular.

Q. Why did you not have writing under the first several photos?
A. Those photos were taken before I created my blog, so my perception of the meal was tainted by time. I felt those photos would still be a good contribution, so I have only marked where they were taken/name of food. All recent photos since the creation of this blog have writing, which I hope will add to my food experience.

Q. Is this your only blog?
A. No. I started my first blog when I made my move to New York City in 2009. It is not as epicurean in nature but rather describes my experiences in the city and my year of service with the Americorps program, City Year.
That blog is andtherestwasnoise.blogspot.com

Both this food blog and my year of service blog are listed under my main blog, which is the epicenter of ME. Visit that at http://www.stellakheine.wordpress.com

Q. Who are you REALLY?
A. Classical musician of the double bass, food fan (both cooking and eating), creative being, thinker extraordinaire, daughter to two who inspire me daily, interested in the story you have to share.

"I trod interstellar space, exalted by the knowledge that I was bound on vast adventure, where, at the end, I would find all the cosmic formulae and have made clear to me the ultimate secret of the universe."

I hope you'll follow The Breadcrumb Trail.
